LAS SERIES ANIMADAS
El primer personaje que realizaron fué Batman, aprovechando el suceso de las dos primeras entregas en el cine realizadas por el gran Timm Burton, Batman y Batman Returns y tomando como guía los inmortales dibujos de los hermanos Fleischer para su inmejorable Superman de los años ´40. El éxito de la serie Batman Animated fué inmediato al punto tal de ganar un Emmy por la calidad extraordinaria de la misma.
Luego de años de Batman, y Robin por supuesto, le llegó el turno a Superman, la serie, algo más refinada y colorida, si bien mostraba una excelente calidad y cuidado no alcanzò el éxito de Batman y su duración en el aire fué bastante más corta.
Lejos de desmoralizarse por no haber conseguido el suceso de su primera serie animada Bruce Timm y compañía fueron por más. ¿Porqué no juntar a los más famosos superhéroes de DC de todos los tiempos, como lo habían hecho en los comics, para una serie animada? Así nació Justice League Animated, a mi gusto ÉPICA. Guiones y dibujos magistrales, personajes tratados como nunca, únicos, personales, verdaderos. Lejos y enmudecidos quedaban Los Superamigos, aquellos que no tenían ningún entredicho, que jamás discutían entre ellos, que lo compartían todo, hasta la merienda, se veían ampliamente derrotados por un grupo de superhéroes que tenían poco en común, que no compartían ideas ni métodos, que se miraban de reojo, que se celaban, y que en momentos incluso dudaban de la capacidad de sus compañeros, pero que a la hora de juntarse por un objetivo común (por lo general atentados contra la humanidad, o parte de ella y hasta pueblos de otros mundos) dejaban de lado sus prejuicios y juntos eran capaces de doblegar a quienes los enfrenten, logrando siempre y en cada capítulo la mayor de sus victorias, contra el aburrimiento y la indiferencia.
¿Habría algo más? Pues sí, de Bruce Timm siempre se puede esperar algo más. Justice League Unlimited. Sublime. Todos y cada uno de los superhéroes del mundo DC, aquellos muy conocidos y los no tanto. Todos diferentes, todos únicos, si hasta parecen reales. Entretenimiento asegurado. Excelencia en calidad, guiones increíbles, historias quizás improbables pero nunca imposibles. Un éxito.
Si quieren pasar un buen momento tanto los chicos como los grandes (se han transformado en un agradable y reconfortante medio de encuentro que he tenido con mi hijo) les recomiendo que no pierdan tiempo y corran a un videoclub y no para alquilar alguna de las tantas entregas que han salido antes de que Darkseid se apodere del planeta...
LAS FIGURAS
Calidad y diseño superlativo. Fieles a los dibujos de Bruce Timm. Una invitación al mundo de las colecciones. Adictivas. Imprescindibles para fanáticos de los superhéroes y los cómics. existen casi todos los personajes que se te ocurran, incluso alguno que no se te ocurra. Casi no existen imposibles. Variedad en precio, desde las muy accesibles hasta algunas exclusivas a costos algo elevados, nunca incomprables.
A TENER EN CUENTA
Los originales tanto de Batman como Superman Animated llevan los sellos en sus piernas, sobre los bíceps femorales; los de Justice League como los de Justice League Unlimited los llevan en la cola. Siempre son en relieve o bajorrelieve. Las figuras exclusivas pueden llevar además un sello en tinta tanto en la cola como en la planta de alguno de sus pies.
Las empresas que los han comercializado son DC Comics, por supuesto; Kenner; Hasbro y Mattel.
En los sellos siempre figuran tanto el nombre de alguna de esas empresas como el año de la figura.
En blister siempre valen más.
Por lo general tienen articulaciones en caderas, hombros y cuello; algunos modelos también en cintura y codos.
Los accesorios son muy variados y valiosos, no cuesta lo mismo la figura sola que con su accesorio, a veces el poseerlo duplica su precio.
Su medida es de 12 centímetros aproximadamente.
Existen tanto personajes masculinos como femeninos.
De un mismo personaje pueden encontrarse variedad de figuras tanto en su forma, posición, colores y vestimenta.
